True vis, but here in the UK I'm a staunch Tory, which are considered to be on the political right. I watched Obama and McCains performances, and listened to what they had to say (I'm sat at home doing sod all else!), and from what I've read on lumra, just believe I'm more akin to the republican beliefs. That said, politics in the US does seem to be a proper carry on!
anyone can wave a flag, zeus. some citizens connect mini-american flags to their car window and drive down the street - i see less and less of this now; it was a fad.
i don't recall seeing mccain wearing the flag pin last night during his speech. he didn't do enough, in my opinion, to distance himself from bush43 either
Watching from afar, this guy seems a better option than Barack Obama. Seems to be a lot more flag waving and patriotism than the other chap.
yup.. how do you like palin's minister? have you enjoyed his remarks? how about hers regarding the war in iraq as "god's plan". "pray for us!" she screams in her speeches like a televangelist!!

And what "tired, political attacks" would those be half-wit? You mean the one about Barack's long association with Bill Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist? Or perhaps you mean the one about Obama dragging his himself and his family to listen to Rev. Wright, the Black equivalent of a KKK Grand Dragon? No? Are you thinking of something else?
and now, all the tired, political attacks this nominee and his kind leveled against newcomer barack obama are going to do an immediate u-turn and bite this old fart in the ass!
